We had a great experience with Progressive Comfort Solutions. We wanted to replace our gas furnace with a heat pump for our 1960's house. Suraj and his team were a delight to work with. From the very beginning, they gave us confidence in their expertise. They were one of three companies that we received quotes from. The first said they would not recommend a heat pump for our house since the ducts were not large enough for a heat pump to be effective. The second contractor proposed a combination of a heat pump and a new gas furnace. Progressive Comfort Solutions proposed a ductless unit for our lower rec room and an air-mover using the existing ducts for the rest of the house. Suraj assured us it was possible to heat and cool our entire house with a single Mitsubishi heat pump. Even though their price was higher than what our second contractor's estimate was, we decided to go with Progressive Comfort Solutions because of their expertise and Mitsubishi's reputation as the number one rated heat pump manufacturer.

Suraj and his team completed the installation in two days but then ran into some problems due to a manufacturing defect in one of the components. It took several trips for them and several calls to Mitsubishi Support Team to isolate the defective component and come up with a solution. During this whole ordeal we felt they were not taking any short cuts but was putting in the effort needed to fix the problem. Our confidence in their expertise and work ethics only grew with this experience. It has been almost 2 months since the installation was completed and we are coming to the end of the Seattle summer. The system has worked perfectly in keeping our home cooled to the temperature we have set. I plan to update this review about the systems performance with the winter heating. But at this time, we would highly recommend Progressive Comfort Solutions for the installation of heat pumps.

This is my 2nd HVAC installation with Progressive Comfort Solutions, the first was in 2016 with my first house and then this one in 2022. I didn't have to wait as long (other companies would quote me an 8 month wait) as Suraj worked with me to install a system that they already had in stock. It's been almost 3 years and anytime that I had noticed anything post installation they would respond (via email) right away and the technician would show up within the time window (first time was to move the system from above my bed frame about 2 feet over and the 2nd time was the outside foam had expanded). If I were to buy another house again I would absolutely contact them again!

Suraj and his team recently installed mini split units for both heating and cooling in our older home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were a pleasure to work with—friendly, professional, and attentive to our preferences for placement in each room and outside. Every space was left spotless after installation, and the entire project was completed efficiently without cutting corners. We’re truly impressed with their work and highly recommend this company to anyone considering HVAC upgrades.
